If I could dance on water...

If I could dance on water
and shimmer like a cloud.
If I could hold a sunbeam
and Fa la la out loud.

If I could hide out in the grass
or rest in raked up leaves.
If I could make a blanket fort
or cross the seven seas.

If I could plant a garden way deep inside of me,
your love would be the flowers
for all the world to see.
And in this garden of my heart
so fragrant and so fine,
I'd give you ever flower back
to show this love of mine.

You should seriously get some of this published.

Thanks Susan. Sometimes, writing a good poem is as satisfying as eating a good meal to me.

There is a publisher somewhere, waiting for this.

And in reference to your previous post, my life took on new dimensions when I became a parent.
