Nerd Girl

Remember when I said I looked like Tina Fey when I wore my glasses? Well, I just thought I'd prove it. Besides, I haven't posted in a long time. My spell check has stopped working on blogger and it's detered me from posting. I find this very annoying.

See??? Call me Nerd Girl. I know it. But for some reason, I have noticed that this is the "Cool" look in Seattle. The only other place where I have noticed that it's hip to look nerdy is in Germany and the Villiage in NYC.

Cool.

Yep! You definitely look adorable in your glasses. =)

As for Blogger spellcheck, I checked out their "problem blog" and they are aware of it & trying to get it fixed. Ya know, in case you were wondering.

Hmmm... I thought that, for the past 6 or 7 years, it's been cool to look nerdy, everywhere. (If it's so in Baltimore, it's so everywhere; we're like the end of the trend line.)

It's either that or I've let my looks go in the past 6 or 7 years and I'm so egotistical about my looks that I thought it's cool to look nerdy. :-)

Pictures like this make me want a pair of "fake" glasses. I once considered buying some just for the style aspect- no prescription. After thinking it over I decided not to, b/c while I would love to wear them every now and then, I wouldn't want to admit that I don't actually need glasses if anyone questioned me about them! ha ha. You do look cute! I like your sweater too! :)

Holly- When I was younger I used to have huge glasses that were green and black specked rims. I also had a short hair perm and braces...and i wondered why no guys ever asked me out. Duh. Oh yeah, and I was like 13...

David- Do you ever post and then just save it for a later date? Seems I've been doing that more often then not. I guess it feels theraputic at the moment. I appreciate that you were wondering what's been up. =) Always love the encouragment.

xeonx- why thanks...=)

You look like a teacher... is that good or bad since you are one? (smile) Of course a pretty teacher...

Have a great weekend my friend!

P.S. My teenager is looking at colleges. We just got the "catalog" (which is actually a cool magazine) from SPU - Seattle Pacific University, are you familiar with it?

you look like a nerd. people forget that nerds are boring on the outside and great on the inside (by inside i mean the bedroom which is where it counts).
