I'm tired of being sick. I've been under the weather since last Thursday with an nasty head cold and sore throat. I just keep plowing through, getting more sleep and liquids. But! Wanna know the upside? I sound just like Kathleen Turner. Seriously! I'm currently sporting her raspy-sultry voice and I think it's quite comical. So I changed my voice mail. It goes like this. "Hello, You've reached Kathleen Turner. Yes, the famous Kathleen Turner. I'm taking all of Colleen's calls for the day, so please be sure to leave her a message. Thank you and good-bye."
The other night, my roommate was laughing at me because I was attempting my first home video. She says that I sure know how to amuse myself. I-sure-do.

Posts like this one is the reason I like reading your blog. It's about your own quirky fun perspective on life and how you play with it. It's like the single female version of Dave Barry. It's you and you should use more of it in your writing. I'd love to have such a quirky perspective and have the guts act on it and have it for writing material.
