By the Nose

Do you ever...
Feel as though...
You life is leading...
You by the nose...?
That's how I've felt...
THese past two weeks...
I can't catch up.

Hmm... I do know the feeling of not catching up, especially when it comes to my laundry, which I should be doing instead of having fun on my computer... (smile)

Oh yeah, I commented on your earlier post that included your link to your dog post. That was truly the funniest thing I read in a long time. I couldn't stop laughing about how you greet dogs and how it would be not a good idea to do the same with people! Really, I laughed for a solid ten minutes!

Susan- Wow. you totally brightened my day =) I have been going non stop till this moment and I read your comment on my "Fact" and the comment on "Greeting Dogs" and I love that you loved it. Sometimes, I feel like it's not me writing stuff. DO you know what I mean?

Yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes I go back and read what I wrote and say, I couldn't write that again if I tried, or where did that come from? Every time I write, words seems to well up and come from somewhere deep down inside, like a bubbling fountain just waiting to run over. That's one of the many reasons I love visting your blog. I get you, I think, or a better way of putting would be, I get your writing :) You express yourself beautifully.

Most of the time I feel as if LIFE is all about "catch up". That's when I get a surprise and one of the pets does something funny and I laugh. For me, laughter is so cathartic. So is fresh air! I have to have at least one giggle a day. A good day is when I get in a belly laugh! Remember in Mary Poppins when the silly man sings,
" I love to laugh, ha ha ha ha
long and loud and clear
and the more I laugh, ha ha ha
ha
the more I'm a merrier me"
So go have a laugh on me. It's free!!!!

Hi Colleen,

May I give you my perspective on this, as a father, full-time journalist, photographer, blogger and general hands-on man? May I, please?

The feeling that life is two steps ahead of us only comes about when our ``to-do'' is too long.

We dictate the pace of our own lives. It's only when wetry to do too much that we feel we're being left behind.

That's not a lecture, just a point of view!!

God bless you and your family (expecially your dear Mum) as you recover from the losses of the past month.

I wish you strength

David

And when you do catch up
you have to ask yourself
was I really being led
by the nose
or was it just
my finger in my nose
that I felt?
