In the Rain with Emily

Oh these rainy days with pouring skys.
The air is seething a misty cool breath
and the earth smells strongly of freshness
and life.
I am slopping in puddles, ankle deep with a seven year old.
Our pink rubber boots keeping feet dry.
There is no need to be out here.
We are choosing this wet play
and nature is our game.
We smile at each other under umbrellas
and just breathing this air is making us full.
