I Leaned Against the Railing

I leaned against the railing,
hoping not to fall.
But as I wobbled,
and I toppled
I fell down on my knees.

I leaned against my house,
hoping not to fall.
But as I wiggled,
and I giggled,
I feel down on my keys.

I leaned against my boyfriend,
hoping not to fall.
But as I cryed and I sighed
I fell down on my face.

Then I leaned against My God,
hoping not to fall,
But alas I still fell...
into His arms of grace.

What a wonderful last line, Colleen.

I really enjoyed that.

I love the imagery here and also the last phrase. Wonderful. One of my favorite words is lean. Ever hear Bjork's song Undo?

Very powerful, Colleen. Powerful in a calming, "re-centering" way.

David- the photo was actually a mistake! But then I just decided to work with it.

Colleen- I'll have to check out "Undo". Bjork is weird, and that's why I like her =)
